Michael Wolfe, MD

Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Wolfe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; board certified in pediatric and adult psychiatry. He received his MD from West Virginia University School of Medicine, training at Brown University for both his general and child psychiatry residencies. Dr. Wolfe was named chief resident at both Brown programs. He completed the Boston Psychoanalytic and Institutes’ Fellowship and has worked internationally in outpatient, partial day program and inpatient settings.

Previously, Dr. Wolfe was Chief of the Young Adult Partial Hospital Program at Butler Hospital. He treats all ages and all disorders with particular expertise in anxiety, depression, and OCD.  He is trained in evidence based psychotherapies and advanced psychopharmacology.  Dr. Wolfe is the current president of the Rhode Island Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University where he teaches and supervises psychiatrists in training.
